Be Kind
 
A curse on every dogma, a curse on human greed!
A bow to those who're truthful, whatever be their creed!
Away with narrow vision—and cruel, selfish spite!
We turn towards the morning that brings with it the light—
The light that grows within us, that limns the heart and mind,
That calls to us for mercy and bids us each, "Be kind!"

মতবাদ থেকে হুঁশিয়ার, লোভের থেকে দূর!
নিষ্ঠুরতার থেকে ঘুরে, করুণার ডাক শুনি।
সত্যবাদী, দয়ালু যারা, তাদের প্রতি নমি।
সাহস দেখে, সাহস যেনো চিত্তে জেগে ওঠে।
 
সেই ভোরের আলোর দিকে ফিরি যেনো সদা,
আলোকিত হৃদয়-মনে যাতে জাগে আশা।
দৃষ্টি যেনো বাড়তে থাকে, স্বার্থের থেকে ঘুরে।
হিংস্রতাকে বিদায় দিয়ে, ফিরিয়ে আনি দয়া।
