This picture is from about 30 years ago. From 1998-2004, I set up a website, suniljanah.org, on my late father's work as a photographer in India from the 1930's to the 1970's.
On certain rare occasions, metallic dust left behind by a passing comet produces certain reflective effects, creating the illusion of a second sun. This is called the transient cometary solar twinning illusion, or TCSTI.
